Veterans Day Ceremony and Essay Contest

The Historical Society of Orange Park and the Town of Orange Park hosted the Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 AM, Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Veterans Memorial in Historic Magnolia Cemetery. As part of the orogram, the winners of this year's essay contest read their essays.  This year's winners were Kelli Dixon of Coppergate Elementary School and Keren Metelus of Orange Park Junior High School.  Both students sis an excellent job.  You can read a copy of these essays by clicking on the name of the student below.
